Well, romance novels that is. I have no first-hand experience to speak of, so forgive me if I seem a little green. What I learned, I learned through reading.
It all started when I was 15 and on a famiy trip back to my mother's hometown in Borneo. I discovered all her old Mills & Boon and Harlequin romances stuffed in the headboard of an old bed. Naturally, I grabbed one and was hooked.
These days I find my romance novels in the local book rental shops or Borders. Sometimes I buy, sometimes I borrow, or sometimes I read for free (that is the case with Borders, muaha).
I prefer historical romances; Regency being my most favourite era (surprise, surprise) but I'm not scared to try Viking, Pirate or any other - EXCEPT WESTERNS. So no cowboys or Red Indians here.
